I have purchase new alto lxi .its windshield glass cracked .it is better 2 claim 4m insurance or replace my own ?whats is cost effectively?

I’m going to Auto Glass tomorrow but don’t how much this might cost me! I’m fully comp om my insurance so should get it free but if not i’d like to know a price range! Thanks

Is glass quality the same or do some places get cheaper glass?

I have a 1997 ford aspire w/ a badly cracked windshield. How much would it cost to replace this? (Estimates are fine as long as you know what you’re talking about… Please don’t just guess.) Also I live in the DFW area of Texas… I don’t know how much that might affect the pricing.
